Coventry-based SME Microcab has developed the H2EV, a prototype lightweight city car as a model for future mobility. Measuring just 3.5 metres in length, the Microcab H2EV has a Lotus-engineered bonded-aluminium chassis, weighing just 60kg, and allowing for both passenger car and commercial vehicle body-styles.

Arcola Energy has integrated Horizon and Ballard air-cooled fuel cells using our complete system, including hydrogen cylinder and delivery system, fuel cell, power and control electronics, ECU, and remote monitoring system. The H2EV has a range of up to 180 miles on a single 1.8kg tank of hydrogen, which can be filled in just three minutes.
