So it is this and (probably) not thyrister dimming which is causing the problem. Two solutions: - Over-rate the generator - Ensure that when peak load is reached it is not all tungsten which has just be switched on... Michael (the LD) has a couple of minor lamp changes to make which will bring the load down. However, there is another problem - thyristor dimming. The load on the fuel cell appears much higher than the expected load. We thing this is due to inefficiency in the dimmers and possibly a poor power factor. More to come on this soon. Not quite yet.
