There are two different internship roles with Arcola Energy. Please see below for details

Arcola Energy Project Internship

To drive the Arcola Energy project forwards we are looking for talented and highly motivated interns to work directly with senior management in:

  • Developing Arcola’s sustainability strategy (covering everything from recycling, sustainable food, website development, energy management, and renewable energy.)
  • Working with partner organisations to develop creative learning and professional development projects around arts & sustainability.
  • Fundraising for sustainability projects and green events.
  • Building partnerships with suppliers, local agencies, other arts and charitable sector organisations
  • Sharing findings with other interested individuals and organisations through mechanisms such as the mayor’s green theatre plan

Applicants will require

  • Knowledge of sustainability issues or arts management developed through undergraduate/post-graduate education and/or several years of relevant work
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative

Arcola Energy Ltd Internship

Arcola Energy Ltd is directly involved in the commercial development of cutting-edge, low carbon products in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated intern for 3 months to assist with:

  • Managing the Arcola Energy website, organising the server and updating information.
  • Developing and leading workshops for schools with a focus on sustainability and renewable energies.
  • Improving marketing strategies and e-campaigns focusing on low carbon technologies.
  • General administration alongside market research identifying potential clients and niche markets for fuel cell technologies in the UK.
  • Assisting in the development of “Destination Zero Carbon”, a national competition involving the development fuel cell cars followed by a race for students aged 12-14.

Applicants will require

  • Basic web design and HTML skills.
  • General administration skills
  • Some knowledge of renewable energies.

These positions require a commitment to work 3 days a week for a minimum of 3 months.
