We plan to build a high calibre, multi-talented Sustainability team at Arcola Theatre supervising technology demonstrations, offering consulting services, and running education projects. There will be opportunities for engineers, policy advisors and trainers.
Energy & Sustainability Internship
To drive Arcola Energy forwards we are looking for talented and highly
motivated volunteers to work directly with senior management in:
- Developing Arcola's sustainability strategy (covering everything from developing state-of-the-art low energy heating and lighting systems to recycling bottles)
- Working with partner organisations to develop youth, community and professional development projects around Arts & sustainability
- Fundraising for projects
- Building partnerships with suppliers, local agencies, other arts and charitable sector organisations
- Sharing findings with other interested individuals & organisations
Applicants will require:
- Significant knowledge of sustainability issues or arts management developed through undergradate/post-graduate education and/or several years of relevant work
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- Ability to work under own initiative
