The markets for fuel cells and hydrogen are still in the early stages of development. As well as developing technologies and solutions Arcola Energy is also creating the conditions for their uptake by working closely with strategic end users and enablers.

Our depth of  understanding of the technology and the market drivers means we are able to provide the link between the state of the art and customer needs, and ensure that products developed meet the requirements.

Arcola is a member of key networks in the UK, such as Hydrogen London and the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association, where we work alongside key public authorities to support the adoption of technologies that align with public policy. We are working closely with the Greater London Authority and Transport for London around both zero emission vans and busses, developing potential future opportunities for our OEM and fuel cell supply partners.

We are part of IMS ECUBES, an international joint venture developing and deploying low carbon infrastructure and transport  solutions. Arcola is the technology partner, leading on the development and procurement of hydrogen generation equipment and zero emission vehicles for major international projects in South East Asia and Europe.

At European Utility Week in Barcelona in November 2018 His Excellency Mr Alex Noerdin, Governor of South Sumatra, announced that the South Sumatran government has agreed a deal with IMS ECUBES to provide a comprehensive range of zero-carbon energy infrastructure to underpin the Asian Games in 2018.
